The Museum is accessible to wheelchair users and other visitors who need to avoid stairs.

Service animals are welcome. Service animals must be on a leash or harness and under the control of the owner at all times.

Caregivers of visitors with disabilities will be admitted for free.

Land Acknowledgment

We recognize that the Museum of Beadwork resides on the traditional land of the Wabanaki Confederacy including the Abenaki, Maliseet, Mi’kmaq, Passamaquoddy, and Penobscot Nations. We wish to pay respect to the generations of Wabanaki People that have and still continue to steward this land, and in this respect we state we are committed to the ongoing work of decolonization in Maine and beyond.
