Renovations are underway to build out the Museum gallery, but we now need to add two additional bathrooms to complete our plans. We need your help!

Our goal is to raise $30,000 over the next 2 months.

The City of Portland requires certain improvements to allow the Museum to open as a place of assembly.

We have already gathered over 600 pieces of beaded art to exhibit when we open.

Your generosity is the final piece. We cannot meet our goal without the help of our community and supporters like you.

We have received many donations since the beginning of 2020, this generous support has already allowed us to begin projects including:

Demolition and clearing of the museum spaces

A refinished floor that will withstand heavy traffic

Stripping, plaster, and painting of the walls

New door installations for access and security

Consultation of lighting and electric wiring

Design of exhibition cases and displays

Over the past several months we have watched our beading community grow. We have had an outpouring of support, interest, and enthusiasm for the Museum of Beadwork and our mission. The Covid-19 pandemic has changed all of our lives during this time and delayed the launch of the museum, but renovations are currently underway and in order to open in 2022 we must have two bathrooms. Please consider donating to this code compliance fundraiser so we can look forward to welcoming you into our Gallery as soon as possible.
