Lynne Sausele has spent her career as an artist with a constant passion to create and innovate in whatever medium she is working in. Her art education at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston was one that encouraged exploration and the freedom of discovery. Julie K. Gray (she/her/hers) grew up in NH but has been happy to call Maine her home since 2007. She earned her BFA in Photography from Rhode Island School of Design in 2005 and has since earned her MFA in Studio Art from Maine College of Art in 2012. She works primarily in photography, sculpture (papier-mache and beaded works), and needlepoint and has exhibited widely in New England.- Heather Kahn

Conversation with the Artist: Melanie Chouinard 4
Melanie Chouinard is a fantasy artist from the little mill town of Wilton, NH. During the day, she uses polymer clay, papier maché, and other media to sculpt wildlife and fantasy creations as The Silver Branch. In the evenings, she turns to beading as a further outlet for her passion, focusing mostly on bead embroidery statement pieces. For her, art is a way to convey stories and to capture the magic of nature for others to view and enjoy.- Heather Kahn

Conversation with the Artist: Katharine Claringbould 3
Katharine was born in Australia, her childhood was spent exploring the Australian landscape on driving and camping trips. She often states that her love of color comes from those days in the bush. The vivid reds, vibrant blues and jewel greens noted on those trips are often present in her work creating bright splashes of color.- Heather Kahn
